Dr. Nicole Cain in her own words:
My passion is integrative mental health. My area of expertise is in integrative, homeopathic treatment of bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, postpartum depression and trauma. Not only have I seen phenomenal outcomes in my patients who have received homeopathic and naturopathic treatment, but my life has been changed through my personal experiences with homeopathic medicine. Naturopathic medicine brought me through some of the most challenging moments in my life, and I am eager to share this incredible medicine with you.
Biography: My education includes undergraduate training in psychobiology and psychoneuroimmunology from Luther College. I completed a residency at Baylor College of Medicine in research in cellular biology, got a Masters in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Specialization from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (CSOPP) and I received my Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM), where I also completed an accredited residency in internal medicine.
I am an expert in the field of classical homeopathy and integrative medicine, and I work with children, teens, and adults. I can serve as your primary care doctor, or work on a team with your other practitioners.
After years of study in the relationship between the gut health and its impact on our emotional well-being; I developed the Gut Psychology Dietary Program. I am also a founder and CEO of Natural Mental Health Supplements, which aims to provide relief to patients who are suffering with mental health concerns through delivery of phenomenal physician-grade nutrition.
I have been published in a number of online journals and newspapers including: Arizona Republic,Naturopathic Doctor News and Review, and SCNM Now. I am also an Instructor of Medical Psychology, Psychiatric Diagnosis and Treatment, and General Medicine at The Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. I have been on the board for many companies including:Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association (AZNMA), Orb Health, and I am a co-founder of the not-for-profit establishment Homeopathic Medicine for Mental Health (HMMH).
I care deeply about my patients and I spend a considerable amount of time with each person, working to help them accomplish their goals. I look forward to every day where I get to work with patients from around the world using integrative medicine for mental health.
